Just a 6-minute walk to beautiful Rio Del Mar Beach, it’s the ideal spot for a relaxed coastal getaway with family or friends.

This is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property.

Great place near the beach and with lots of space to hang out and enjoy family time. It was pouring rain and the space was so cozy it didn’t even bother us that we were cooped up. Lovely spot would definitely go back.

Access to the charming beach was incredible - just a very short walk down the one-way road. The house is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by mature trees. The rooms were comfy and it had everything we needed. Parking was fine - two cars in the driveway as promised. Aptos is a lovely village - there is a great place for ice cream near the huge grocery store up the road too.

This property is very comfortable. Small but well stocked kitchen. Sunny private backyard. Plenty of space to relax in the living room or upstairs with the pool table. The gas fireplace made a perfect warm and cozy setting for libations in the evening and coffee in the morning.

Spacious, modern, clean and bright. Restful. Well-appointed and tastefully decorated. Many sleeping and hang out areas (patio garden with grill and outdoor shower and pool table. Clean & awesome beach house, walk to the beach and awesome mountain or gravel road biking pedaling right from the house. Shops/food isn’t really walkable due to walking along a very busy & tight road. A dog was barking loudly as we were packing up, super glad that waited til departure. It was perfectly quiet & peaceful during our stay before packing up. The loft bed facing the driveway was nothing short of a magical place to sleep. Pool table was a hoot. We’d absolutely stay here again, sure hope to return. The Hideaway is 6 minutes away with outstanding food. Beach & MTB without driving is truly a treat, must mention this again as that’s quite rare.

The property and house were beautiful! Clean, nice location. We stayed for my daughter's birthday and the proximity to the beach was wonderful! The amenities were ok. We had a great stay. The only thing that could be improved is the speed of communication with the hosts. We had some adjustments to make before our stat and it seemed that turn around time in messaging was about 2 days. Also, the wifi information was not posted anywhere in the house or check in guide so we had to message the host and did not hear back for quite a few hours. Not a huge thing. Overall this place was great and we'd love to come back!

This place was most excellent and relaxing. There were 7 of us (2 adults 4 young teens and a pooch) and the house was perfect. A very easy walk to the beach (tip cross over the bridge for easier access) which was less than 10 minutes away. A few options for food/coffee in town (next to beach) made it easy to augment our beach picnic fare. Up the street (5 minutes by car) is a strip mall with a Safeway, ice cream parlor, taqueria, etc. If you have desires to leave Aptos, SC and Capitola are 10-15 minutes away but we found very little reason to do so. No AC but the ocean breeze cools down the place a lot. Kristen & Shane, who run/own O'Neal rentals, were super attentive and helpful as was their staff. Great communications and easy peasy instructions. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful home for a family stay, this is our 2nd time booking it. The kitchen remodel was a really great surprise. The fully stocked kitchen made a difference. The pool table was used every day, the kids loved it and it made for some additional unexpected memories. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk max. Amazing house, amazing location.

Great house to stay in! We loved how close the beach was and how yummy the ice cream shop was!! The house was comfortable and spacious enough for our family if 5. Only downside is that the beds are not comfortable at all… but we never expect it to be.
