Terrible experience. After driving from out of state for our Christmas trip, DoubleTree refused to honor our reservation even though my valid debit card had already been charged by the hotel earlier that same day. I had called ahead to confirm everything was fine, and no one disclosed that this location refuses certain bank cards. When we arrived, the front desk suddenly claimed they could not accept my card, would not accept cash, and would not allow another family member to pay, leaving us with absolutely no way to stay. The representative showed zero empathy and offered no solutions. Her exact response to my asking what we were supposed to do was, “This is the solution,” meaning they were turning us away entirely. My young son was devastated, as this was his first Christmas Disneyland trip. We missed our planned family dinner, fireworks, and evening activities because we had to scramble to find emergency lodging at a higher cost in a city where we have no support. This experience felt discriminatory, humiliating, and completely mishandled. We have stayed with Hilton for over a decade and have never been treated like this. To make matters worse, the hotel placed an unauthorized charge on my card even though they refused to accept that same card at check-in. I am now disputing the charge and working with Hotels.com on a formal investigation. Future guests should be warned: policies were not disclosed, customer service was unprofessional, and the impact on our family was d

Room was very clean (got a suite for a great price) and comfortable. Staff exceptionally nice and helpful, especially appreciated when checking in late after a long day at Disney. Parking was kind of high, but then I found out they allow you to park early the day of check in (could've taken ART and saved Disney parking cost). I will definitely stay here again.
