Safe and Secured

I was driving from Oklahoma to Las Vegas alone and I like to stay here because of it being gated and secure. Especially when I am alone and pulling a trailer. The staff was awesome as well. If you stay in the rooms where you are allowed pets they are not as good as the standard rooms. I have stayed in both. But I guess that is expected if you are bringing animals.

A great hotel! Very clean and spacious rooms. Bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, but workable. The lobby was spacious, the staff was courteous. Some great things about the hotel: it is only a quarter mile from Old Town that is the shopping center of Albuquerque - an easy walk down Rio Grande Blvd. The hotel has an on site restaurant that serves (free) gourmet breakfast - this was a welcome break from the canned/preserved fare that's served these days at most "Breakfast included" hotels/inns. Besides breakfast too, the restaurant carries delicious Santa Fe style entrees (pretty much the same taste-wise as compared to other famous/highly recommended Santa Fe restaurants), as well as burgers and sandwiches. Hotel provides shuttle to nearby destinations, as well as to the airport. The location is also convenient, right off I-40 and just two exits away from I-25/I-40 intersection. The Petroglyph National Monument is also very close. A special shout out to Gillian at the front desk who went out of the way to make sure our ride to and from old town was smooth and comfortable.

All of the staff was very pleasant and greeted us no matter what they were doing. Older hotel looks to have been recently up graded. Nice furnishings and really enjoyed the pictures on the hallways. Only down fall was we were hauling a 40’ trailer and needed a place to park it. It took some work but we got it in there and parked. The coffee machine in our room didn’t work. Breakfast was delicious for a hotel.
