When we arrived our room, deluxe king, had been overbooked, so we were “upgraded” at the hotel’s expense. When we arrived to our room it had such a bad odor, we had to return to the desk and request a different room. They weren’t able to make the change until the receptionist had to go “smell” it. We were eventually given another room. It still smelled stuffy, but doable. The room was clean.

I was told at check in my stay would cost me $445. They even ran my credit card at that amount plus a $50 incidental. I was handed a bill at checkout showing I was charged $585. I sought a refund from the property and Hotels.com and got nowhere. I recognize some of this was my mistake for not checking my email from Hotels.com more closely but I would have canceled on the spot at check in and went somewhere much less expensive if I hadn't been duped. Turns out they jack up the rate $50 a night during the week because of all the construction workers who come to the city for all the building that is going on. I ended up paying almost $200 to stay at a hotel with no pool, bland breakfast and a closed fitness center. Really upset

Front desk was playing Xbox when I walked and got visually frustrated because he had to pause his game to do his job. They could not find my reservation even though I had confirmation from Expedia and paid for it. Gave me the run around and very disrespectful towards me. Don’t book there

WiFi was out and did not have a fix for days. This was. Ot disclosed at check in and then I could not get a refund due to booking through a third party. I felt it was intentional not sharing that prior to the transaction. I had the do not disturb aigb on the door and I came back from a work day and there had been work done to the bathroom. Needs improved coffee. The hotel was adequate as far as cleanliness and comfort. Having to work at local restaurants and coffee shops was a big dissatisfaction.

Was not informed WiFi did not work upon booking or arrival. Had to force room door shut, would hang up before fuly closed. Had to adjust toilet flush valve in order to get it to fully flush. Exhaust fan vent clapped constantly when not on had to leave on overnight in order to sleep.
