The Space:

Howdy, y'all! Wrangle your crew and head on over to Abilene Icon, where frontier dreams come alive in the heart of Abilene! This handsome 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath bunkhouse captures the spirit of Abilene through three captivating themes: The Story, The Sky, and The Western Spirit.

Mosey on in and feast your eyes on our grand hall with ceilings as high as the West Texas sky, weathered shiplap walls, and leather seating as soft as a well-worn saddle – the perfect spot for your posse to hunker down after a day on the trail. The wide-open layout connects the main quarters with a chuck wagon-worthy kitchen and dining area where the whole outfit can belly up for home-cooked vittles. From lone star artwork to cow-print accents, frontier charm greets you at every turn.

Out back, gather 'round the campfire where the Abilene Icon mural stands tall against the rustic brick wall. As twilight falls and the string lights twinkle like stars in the Texas sky, swap tall tales or toast a marshmallow while the embers glow. Whether firing up the grill irons or settling into the comfy chairs, this outdoor territory invites you to drink in that sweet Texas evening air.

Bunk down in our themed sleeping quarters that celebrate Abilene's storied past. "The Story" room spins yarns with colorful characters from children's tales, inspired by Abilene's famed Storybook Garden where imagination runs wild. "The Sky" quarters salute the high-flying heroes of Dyess Air Force Base with its wingspread headboard, honoring the brave men and women who keep watch over our freedoms. "The Western Spirit" chambers showcase Abilene's frontier heritage with a sunset mural that'll have you dreaming of riding alongside cowboys under star-filled skies on the open range.

After a day of blazing trails through Abilene's attractions, you'll find plenty of room at the ranch with our 4 Queen beds and 1 King bed. Kick off your boots in our entertainment corner where you can challenge your sidekicks to a showdown at the shuffleboard table, stake your claim on the Xbox territory, or gather the whole posse around for some digital gaming entertainment. Just a short trot from downtown's watering holes and trading posts, Abilene Icon puts you square in the middle of all the great things Abilene has to offer!

When you're fixin' to explore beyond our fence lines, saddle up for Frontier Texas! where the Old West comes alive right before your eyes, or time your stay during the Western Heritage Classic to witness genuine cowboys displaying skills passed down through generations.

Hitch your wagon at Abilene Icon – where your Texas adventure awaits!!

The Neighborhood:

When your belly starts a-rumblin', hightail it to the legendary Perini Ranch Steakhouse (30 minutes), where you'll sink your teeth into what many call the best cowboy cuisine in Texas. Closer to home, you'll find a whole roundup of eateries rangin' from down-home cookin' to fancy fare, all just minutes from your doorstep.

Perfect home to celebrate daughter’s graduation

This property was a great home for my family to stay. Loved the personal touches the host provided for our daughter’s graduation. Large family room and kitchen was nice for our family to gather together. The outdoor area was perfect for cooking and visiting. Highly recommend the property.

Great weekend in Abilene

We had family and friends in Abilene for CALF and needed some space for a young family, my daughter and her husband. The property worked perfectly and made for a very comfortable and enjoyable weekend.

The proactive communication from the host was very helpful! Reaching out before our arrival and asking about the purpose of our trip. The host added wallpaper on the living room TV with the event we were attending! Very thoughtful and inviting!

Beautiful Home right in town

This is now the 5th house of B&B Hosting we have stayed at in the last 13 months. Just as all the others it was wonderful. Very clean, all the amenities you need and more. Right in the middle of town and convenient to all locations in Abilene. I think 12-15 minutes is the longest it took to get anywhere and that was clear across town. Thank you as usual and will be staying again soon. Jeff T., Boerne, TX
