"The housekeepers and checkin people were great. The room (521) had a squeaky door and faucet that was hard to deal with. The shower cap was coming off of the wall. The pool was filled with bugs. Mosquitoes across the top of the pool that weren’t cleaned and what looks like a spider at the bottom of the pool. We also had drunk neighbors that came back at 4am and after calling the operator they did send someone up around 4:40am to ask them to quiet down. And there was a cart in the hallway for three days for a repair if looks like they were thinking about doing to a room a couple down from us."

"Area is quiet & room is comfortable; cleaning staff is friendly & keeps place looking nice; it’s pet friendly; been staying here for a month due to my situation of being homeless but the owner was rude about it saying it’s not extended stay place even though the room has been paid for so they’re making money & don’t see why that matters omg I guess I won’t be back now"

"I understand this isn’t a five‑star hotel, but there are basic issues that could be fixed with minimal cost. For example: reattaching the baseboard, spraying for ants (I’ve already killed about five - some were in the bed), fixing the broken bathroom door handle, replacing the stained toilet seat, and addressing the musty, smoky odor. You can also hear every step from the guest above you — at least in our room. When I first contacted the manager at Best Western Louisville, he offered a refund. I later learned I had reached the wrong property — that hotel is about three miles from Best Western Louisville South, where my reservation actually was. Once I reached the correct location, the experience changed. I spoke with the General Manager of Best Western Louisville South. She acknowledged the hotel has an ongoing ant problem but refused to issue a refund. Instead, she suggested I sign up for rewards and she’d give points to stay at “another Best Western,” which I explained I would never do. Her approach was unprofessional, dismissive, and lacked accountability. She attempted to position herself as the victim and ended the call when she couldn’t manage the situation. This was unacceptable given the money I spent and the conditions I encountered. If tournaments hadn’t filled every hotel this weekend, I would have left immediately and paid to stay elsewhere. I will never return to this hotel — or any Best Western."
