"Quirky property - in a good way. Recently updated, comfy features, nice staff, indoor pool and hot tub, great little place for coffee on site. Close to town, but right on the main road so a little road noise. Overall, pleased!"

"Clean, quiet, low key, and dog-friendly. A really well-working shower and on-site laundry were bonuses for long hiking day trips. Room had a fridge and a microwave. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. "

"My husband and I spent 3 nights for our anniversary. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. She gave us a list of businesses that she knew were open (off season). The room was very clean and bed comfortable. The breakfast was great. Only recommendation would be having 2 different kinds of omelets each day. Both pans had the cheese ones one day..then the following day both were a veggie and ham kind. The only thing that was a bit of let down was the hot tub seemed to be more foamy and strong chemical mist that made us cough a lit when first getting in. Other guest who also used it also had the same issue. We couldnt stay in it very long because of it. Which was somewhat dissappointing being it was the thing we looked forward to most. Otherwise, it was great!"

"This place was a GEM when I needed a room for several days due to bad weather while camping in the area. Staff was super nice, and the room was spotless. I'm not kidding, I am picky as hell and would rather camp in my car than stay at an economic hotel because they are usually run down and dirty. Loved it so much here that I stayed 3 nights in the area. I liked pulling right up to my door, I felt safe, and I had everything I could want in my room, even a small sofa. Most "breakfasts included" are not all that, but this place has a wonderful spread; hot, fresh and plentiful - a different menu every day! I highly recommend this place! :)"

"We were on our way to South Dakota but stopped here for the night after a 9 hr drive. We checked in quickly at 1am, and literally unpacked and put on our pj’s. Bed was comfortable, shower was nice and hot in the morning. Everyone was very friendly and gave us some tips for touring around before heading towards Mount Rushmore Via Devils Tower. We did stop into downtown and took a view pics and read about Sundance history. Also right next to gas station where we filled up! "
