"Rooms are spacious and beautiful very clean. Showers are excellent. Lots of charms. Thanks for the coffee, tea, and snacks- they came in handy. Wish there was some sort of food onsite or drinks too. Maybe offer done board games or cards to entertain Would return!!"

"We were going to stay at the Riverside Motel in Fultonville. That place looked SCARY. We left that motel ASAP and went to the Super 8. The Super 8 was MAGICAL in comparison. Very clean, no smoke odor, sizable room with microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast bagels were YUM! Very grateful not to fear that my car will be broken into or that I’ll be murdered in my sleep. Slept like a baby :)"

"We were just there for one night. When we arrived, a car pulled up and asked our names, we said who we were and they replied that they did not know what time we were arriving. ( check in is 4 to 9, something like that). He said Expedia had sold our reservation to a third party, and there was no contact information.. We tried contacting them through the email message they presumably sent through Expedia, but there wasn't one. We didn't think there was a serous issue, or we would have called the inn. ( He said we should have booked directly through the inn, he also said it would have been self check-in). Anyhow, we entered and checked in...empty, dark and cold, why we didn't leave right then, who knows. Our room was cold, the person said the mini split would heat it up in no time ( not really)...the only saving grace was the local restaurant he recommended was excellent (Sam's Seafood). Our much-needed getaway started poorly. I bet it's a lovely place to stay in-season, but do your self a favor when making a reservation, contact them directly and be sure the lights will be on!"

"Secluded location, just like the name of the property says. Large spaces for family to gather, but also enough bedrooms and space throughout the house for us and our three adult children to have some privacy. We loved exploring the trails on the property and the frequent wildlife sightings (deer and turkeys!) Many small towns nearby for exploring - shopping, paved walking/hiking/biking trails, groceries and restaurants. If you're up for a longer drive, Lake George and Lake Placid are farther away, but worth the visit. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for property description was because we found out after checking in that the fireplace cannot be used by guests. "
