A grand history
The Nederlander Theatre was built in 1926, designed by the Rapp brothers. The brothers styled the theatre using inspiration from the Far West, designing the art and architecture to transport visitors to another world. The Nederlander Theatre was first opened as a movie palace, transitioning to a live music venue in the 1970s. The theatre closed in 1981 due to economic struggles, remaining in disrepair until the historic venue was rescued by a Canadian company. Renamed the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, the theatre reopened in 1998.

A new beginning
Now, the Nederlander Theatre has returned to its former state of glory. Many Broadway shows begin here before moving on to New York or other destinations on their national tours. From Sing-A-Long Wizard of Oz and Wicked to Big Fish and Newsies, the Nederlander Theatre always presents stellar live performances. Pick up your cheap Nederlander Theatre tickets for an unforgettable evening. Whether you're looking for the best in Broadway, a night of family fun, or a romantic date, a show at the Nederlander Theatre is always a good idea!
