The 17 member band La Arrolladora Banda El Limon was formed in the 1960s, but it was three decades before they cut their first album in 1997. "Mas Arrolladora Que Nunca" was recorded with La Sierra records.
In 2009 the band won a Grammy. In 2010, the won another Grammy and an Award Del Radio. The band has achieved Gold and Platinum status first in 1998 with the release “Más Arrolladora Que Nunca” in the United States and Mexico. Their work continues to garner praise from listeners. The band’s Facebook page has more than 4 million followers.
Music critics continue to salute the band and their work. Billboard Magazine calls La Arrolladora Banda El Limon a “top-selling group.”
