Perhaps look like you like your job.

Take the I-95 to Jacksonville International (JAX) and park in one of the many onsite lots to begin your journey. Typical flight times from JAX to Washington Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) are approximately 90 minutes.
To skip the drive, use Amtrak and take the Metrorail from DCA to either the Union or Alexandria stations, depending upon your final destination.
As the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., is unsurprisingly rich in sites to see. Begin with a stop at the Vietnam Veterans and Korean War Veterans Memorials.
To get lost in a collection of more than 126 million artifacts, visit the National Museum of Natural History. Before you leave, visit the White House and the Washington Monument. Take a glass-encased elevator to the top of the 555-foot monument for great views.
For a tour of the White House, contact your senator or representative at least 21 days in advance of your planned trip. End with a stroll along the Tidal Basin, a two-mile long pond flanked by cherry blossoms trees.
If you like an active nightlife, stay in Penn Quarter. If you want to stay close to the White House, look for a Midtown hotel. Washington, D.C. experiences seasonal weather changes. Plan your visit for spring or fall for best chances of good weather.
