The Locks Bradley International (BDL) Airport is only about a 15-minute drive from Hartford, Connecticut. Connecticut Transit buses, along with taxis and shuttles, can take individuals to airport from the downtown area. Flight times are usually just over one hour to Washington Ronald Reagan National (DCA) Airport. Take advantage of the Washington Metrorail to access your accommodations, as well as some of the attractions in the area. Shuttles, buses and taxis are also available.
Washington, DC is filled with locations of historical significance. While the White House may be viewed from a distance, there are other important locations to add to your agenda.
