A flight from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Manila is the perfect Southeast Asian escape. Just take I-5 to the 518 and jet off to the balmy Philippines. Cosmopolitan Manila boasts a slew of civic landmarks like Fort Santiago, Malacañang Palace, the National Library of the Philippines, and the National Museum of the Philippines. Urban parks and wildlife preserves include Manila Ocean Park, Rizal Park, and the Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden. For local culture options, there's always Museo Pambata and the Manila Cathedral to explore.

Getting around is easy thanks to the Strong Republic Transit System (SRTS). Rent a car to visit nearby Tagaytay City and its impressive Taal Volcano. Ayala Center boasts excellent shopping, while Roxas Boulevard on the waterfront has all the best hotels. Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City and the Manila Metropolitan Theater, both offer many entertainment options.
