While San Francisco has many things for locals to be entertained with, the real treat lies in Los Cabos, nestled on the southern tip of Baja California. Spend time outdoors on one of the area's many beaches like Medano, or visit the Cabo Pulmo National Park.

Once you land at San Jose del Cabo Airport (SJD), take Highway 1 south to reach most area hotels, many of which boast beachfront views. Los Cabos doesn't have a rainy season and in fact only receives about seven inches of rainfall annually, so any time of year is perfect for a trip.
