Manhattan is only four miles away from the New York La Guardia (LGA) Airport but traffic can really put a damper on the trip. Instead, opt to take the New York Subway or the Long Island Rail Road to the AirTrain station. From there, you can head straight to the airport. Typical flight times are two hours to Madison Dane County Regional (MSN) Airport. The Madison Metro Bus as well as rental cars can be picked up outside of door six. Taxis and courtesy cans are also available.
