La Guardia Airport (LGA) is located four miles from Manhattan. It is on the Grand Central Parkway, and the M60 bus makes regular trips from the West Side, East Side and Queens 24 hours a day.

Flights to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) take around 52 minutes from LGA. A taxi or the 28X Airport Flyer shuttle bus can make the 19-mile trip to downtown Pittsburgh via I-376 E easy.

Attractions and Tips

Pittsburgh is home to a plethora of unique attractions. Phipps Conservatory, located in Schenley Park, features seasonal exhibits in its 13 rooms and the surrounding gardens. The Carnegie Museum of Natural History is located nearby, just across the way from Carnegie Mellon University, and houses exhibits ranging from dinosaurs to mummies. Three professional sports teams also call Pittsburgh home, so catching a game is never out of the question.

You can take a food walking tour through the famous Strip District that features homemade foods from the city’s diverse cultures.
