Detroit is more than just a big city; it is a location with a rich history that is well documented through attractions and museums. The Motown Historical Museum started out small but now features the original recording studio from 1952 to 1972 along with costumes and memorabilia. The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History is another great location that tells the history of the African American experience in the United States. If it is baseball season, sports fans are going to want to head to Comerica Park to see the Detroit Tigers.
