Whether you’re traveling to Barcelona for work or pleasure, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) offers lots of amenities to help you along the way. The airport’s FlyAway bus service will get you to the airport without the hassles of driving. From Hollywood, for example, the bus will get you to the airport in about 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
Since your flight to Barcelona will take about 15 hours, relax in one of the airport’s many restaurants, browse the shops or take a shuttle to a nearby hotel if you have a long layover.
You can begin your tour of the bustling cosmopolitan city by visiting the Picasso Museum, or the Miro Foundation to get an appreciation of Spain. Then, take a walk around Barcelona and see the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell; the beautiful stone architecture created by the famous Antoni Gaudi. Barcelona has fabulous parks for guest to explore too; the extensive Parc de la Ciutadella has a zoo, gorgeous landscaping and even a museum.
When your plane reaches Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), an Aerobus or taxi will take you into Barcelona. The airport also offers car rentals, but parking in the city is expensive. Barcelona has cold winters and hot summers, so your trip will depend on your plans.
