Dallas/Ft Worth International (DFW) is the largest airport in Texas and is located halfway between these two major cities. It can be reached from State Highway 183 on the south or Interstate 635 as well as State Highway 114 on the north. One of the popular destinations that can be reached from this airport is Delhi Indira Gandhi International (DEL) and for this trip, flight times are usually just under 17 hours. Delhi can be reached via the Metro, bus, cars, taxi or train.

If you love architecture and want to experience some amazing temples, visit the Lotus Temple, ISKCON Hare Krishna Temple and the Kalkaji Mandir Hindu Temple, which are all located close to each other. To relax or enjoy a picnic check out Lodi Gardens, which also has old tombs to explore. Speaking of tombs, the Humayun's Tomb and Tomb of Safdarjung are also well worth checking out. For great photo opportunities, visit the Indie Gate, Red Fort and the National Zoological Park.

Due to the hot summer temperatures in Delhi, it is best to pack light clothing, such as cottons. A hat and sunglasses are also highly recommended. In winter, the temperature drops considerably, so bring sweaters, overcoats or thermal wear if you visit during this time.
