Bringing Holiday Joy to Everyone
Scott Kelly, Sharon Kelly, and Steve Ratchen created the band The Wizards of Winter in 2009 as an attempt to give back to their local community of the Tri-State Area. The progressive rock band had their first gig at the local food pantry, a holiday concert to raise money for the pantry to continue operations. After a very successful turnout the first year, the band continued to perform holiday concerts for charity for several years. Eventually after years of performing covers of songs, the group created their own rock opera entitled Tales Beneath a Northern Star. Throughout the course of their careers the group has seen many line up changes and they have also gone on tour with several different artists around the holidays including the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Fans are eager to hear what the group has in store for them for the 2019 holiday season.
