Their song “Take Me Home” featuring Bebe Rexha released on July 15, 2017 is still the groups highest-charting song to date. Cash Cash have also created official remixes of music from Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, Showtek, Icona Pop, and Krewella. History

Jean Makhlouf and Sam Frisch started playing together in the early 2000s. The originally played together in The Consequence. The group put out three releases. It wasn’t until 2008 that the group changed its name to Cash Cash. The reason for changing their name was there was a trademark on the name The Consequence and after they signed with Universal Republic Records under the name The Consequence they began receiving a lot of legal notices. The band decided to change their name to Cash Cash because it seemed like everyone was after their cash. After they signed they toured with Tyga and many other groups. In 2009 the group played on the main stage at Bamboozle. Cash Cash continued to tour through 2010. Their drummer Anthony Villacari left the group in 2011. Later that year they released their second full-length album Love or Lust. In 2012 the group began receiving popularity from fans of dance music. Krewella released their song “Alive” on the Play Harder Remix EP. In 2013 Nicky Romero invited Cash Cash to performer at Amsterdam Dance Event. Then with the release of their song “Take Me Home” this helped to bring the group to rank 57 on the Billboard Hot 100.
