We stayed here 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. Clean space, great host, and wonderful memories. Unfortunately this stay was disappointing. The air conditioning in one bedroom was broken for the duration of our stay. A ceiling fan was rusted and broken. The house attendant was very nice, but did not wash towels, even after we used them several times and left them visibly soiled in the hamper to be washed. She refolded them and put them back on the shelf. The cost of having a chef and groceries was confusing and seemed inaccurate. The Host was friendly but could have responded to concerns quicker. One of the biggest complaints was the ants. The home had 2 types of ants. Leaf cutter ants that came out at night and were neat to watch and not a concern for us at all. The other ant was present all the time and everywhere. They were on all of the surfaces including around the pool, on tables, chairs, and lounge areas. If you sat down anywhere in the kitchen/living area, you would have ants crawling up your legs within a few minutes. We asked the host if anything could be done about those ants and where told they are not allowed to do anything about those ants. That may be the case but unfortunately took away from a lot of the enjoyment. I would like to note that this accommodation is very much exposed to the outdoors, so some interaction with nature is to be expected. Overall, a few improvements could make this a wonderful property again.
