We loved staying at Haus Papillon in Zermatt! Check in was super easy and quick to find right off the train. The apartment was spotless, and accessible to town with a 10-15 min walk. We came to ski, and though we had trouble finding the ski room the first day (it’s on the very bottom floor), it was really close to Matterhorn Sport Riva to rent our equipment. We mostly got our dinners and breakfasts from Coop (lunch on the mountain) and the kitchen was super well appointed for that. If I had only one complaint is that the bed pillows were flat as boards! It was fine though, since we were exhausted from skiing all day every day. The apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood but we didn’t feel apart from the hustle of Bahnhofstrasse, and all the ski entry points were really accessible by either walking (Sunnega-Rothorn) or green line ski bus (Gornergrat and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise). The apartment is well thought out and efficient. Thanks for letting us stay!
