Excellent customer service and attention. My room was comfortable and clean. I had an incredible view of the mountains from my spacious balcony. The designer bath salts and lotions, and soft, fluffy robe were such a treat after an overnight hike and climb of Matterhorn. Breakfast was exceptional, and offered fresh fruit, and anything else you could imagine. A completely luxurious stay and I will certainly reserve here should ski season bring me back to Zermatt!

Hotel right on waterfront path (one of only a few hotels lakefront), walking distance to train station (<1km) and bus station nearby. Is about midway between 2 lake ferry pickups, nearby grocery, convenient, and restaurants. Safe and quiet when no festivals next door. Huge balconies with lounge chairs and table/chairs with lake view/sunset views, rooms large, found prpoerty very clean and all staff friendly/helpful. Will stay again.

Loved the property. Nice rooms (we stayed in the junior suite), the spa and pool was a must after a long day of skiing, and location was very walkable. The only slight knock was the dining area staff (front desk was great) did not seem as friendly. Might have been an age thing as I was likely one of the younger guest (in my late twenties) but I felt a noticeable difference between how my wife and I were treated and the other couples.

Location is obviously the only thing going for this place. Terrible food. Hotel is old tired and needs a complete refurbishment. Is stuck in the 1990s is cheap for a reason. Could live with the old decor but the breakfast was really not up to standard. Not in the same league as the other four star hotels in town. Disappointing. Nice staff with very little to work with. Not a towel in sight in the pool area- have to bring from the room. Boot room big enough for 2 people with the smallest ski locker ever seen and a rule of no boots in the boot room! Serving spoons instead of dessert spoons faulty towers in many ways

Great hotel. We didnt eat at the resturant and didnt get time to go to the spa, becuse we on only spent a night here. However tve room was clean. We had great views of the materhorn.

Very convenient location (4 min walk to the train station and 13 min walk to the ski lift); very friendly staff; there is even a piano in the dining area for guests to play. The only thing less ideal is that there are no plugs near the bed
