The location is very convenient, with delicious restaurants and small shops where you can buy all kinds of food, snacks, daily essentials, and gifts. For a 10-year-old child, the game room, pool, and hot spa were a big hit! The in-room kitchenette made it easy to prepare simple meals, and the balcony offered a lovely view of the creek. It was a wonderful stay.

We loved the nearness and soothing sound of the Merced river from our river view room. The patio condition was ok at best and it had wrought iron fencing separating our area from the next, so little in the way of privacy. Our room was fine other than the fact that it had a cat urine smell that we were hit with when we opened the door. We heard others complaining of the same in their rooms and the theory that the staff used an ammonia cleaner of some kind. We bought a scented candle to help mask the odor.

This is our second stay - it’s a very convenient location to the Valley. Rooms are condo and all rooms have a balcony overlooking the river…so peaceful (we left our window open and loved listening to the flowing Merced). The staff are very nice and we will always come back here!

Room overlooked a running stream - beautiful and peaceful. Staff was super nice and helpful. Lodge was suitably located for things we wanted to do. Food at the restaurant was terrible. Chose to eat pizza for three meals in a row, presuming they couldn't mess that up. Happy to have the small kitchenette to warm up leftover pizza for lunch. Small grocery store was very helpful for snack options. Cleaned two wads of hair out of our tub before we used it. If that wasn't cleaned, what else wasn't cleaned? Other than that, the room was "fine". Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't choose to stay there again. If you do choose to stay there, plan accordingly and bring groceries and cleaning wipes for a quick touchup.
