Parking was easy, but across the street. Parking elevators were down during our stay, but we were able to walk up and down. Loved the grand feel of the hotel, and that it was easy to sit and visit at the bar. Also there was NO noise overnight in our room - amazing! Bathroom was clean and bright.

There is very little “on property” parking so that was slightly difficult to navigate. But the front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating in providing guidance and a “pass” to park in an area adjacent to the property. I would highly recommend booking a stay here if you find yourself in the area!

Busy hotel but managed superbly!

Wedding. Son got married. Not only was our experience excellent in every way but they managed 3 other wedding parties using their facilities. The wedding coordinator Angie was fantastic! She tended to every request! The facility was super clean and all staff was outstanding. If i had to say a negative it would be traffic noise...BUT its in the city. Just request a room in the back. An excllent experience indeed! The breakfast was outstanding!

The staff was great especially the front desk, dining and rooftop. We enjoyed the dining - pork entree was wonderful. Our only compliant was that our room wasn’t made up one day but Dave in room services took good care of us and brought us fresh linens, etc. the location was very convenient to family that live in York and we had a wonderful weekend of family celebrations. We would stay again.

It rose from the ashes just like the Phoenix!

We've stayed at the Yorktowne in the past. This is the first time since the new renovations. We were terribly impressed, enjoyed our stay very much. We're happy the decision was made to fix it instead of tearing it down and we're already discussing our next trip to York.

It’s a beautiful place, very unique. The bar was great and the restaurant was good too. We love to explore the area with many bars and restaurants in walking distance.
