The breakfast was more than could be expected! Pots of coffee, cereals, pastries, yogurt, jams and jellies and this was before the main menu. I had traditional English breakfast which was fabulous. Easy street parking clean comfortable rooms, why stay anywhere else when visiting York?!!!

Staff wear very friendly, hotel was perfectly positioned for a 15 minute walk into York town centre. Lovely local parade of independent shops just up the road. Can recommend the Thai Season restaurant, worth every penny, food was amazing and staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate you. Parking outside hotel property and permit easily obtained via Helen (Host) prior to our stay. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, everything you could want, cooked breakfast just as you want it, plenty of pastries, fruit selection, cereal, fruit juices, tea, coffee , a massive selection. Property was well presented, clean, warm and cosy with tea and coffee facilities available in your room with kettle for your own use. Our on suite bathroom was alittle small for me, however it was clean and towels were provided. Lovely small independent hotel.
