The staff was friendly and kind. The room had a pretty bad smell. The door didn’t close right to the room, and the top door lock screw came out, so didn’t feel very safe. The body wash was out in the bathroom. The breakfast was very limited, if you need a good breakfast this wouldn’t work for you, it’s more continental with limited options. Bed was comfy, room was clean enough.

Pathetic breakfast; all processed sugary carbs, nothing healthy, no yogurt or protein and no water available. Room was supposed to be a non-smoking room and I could hardly breathe- everything stunk so bad of cigarettes, it’s obviously a smoking room! Toilet was broken and we had to fix it. Had we checked in earlier and not on a tight travel schedule, I would have moved rooms! So gross!

When I got in, the girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. However despite paying more to not have a smoking room, I felt like I walked into a fleabag motel when I got to my room. Broken lock, unvacuumed and old carpet, stains, mildew in the shower - and the smell...that smell of strong curry - it is in my clothes, in my bags - from only a few hours. With the ancient ac/heat unit not very efficient in temp control, uncomfortable lumpy pillows and a scent that I could feel in my nose, I just packed up around 130am and hit the road. I could not stay there any longer. Onsite bar and restaurant was convenient but the food was meh at best, and slow service. Unless they revamp all of their rooms and fix their duct work, avoid this place.

Ice machines didn’t work, soda machine out of order, slim fixings on Continental breakfast, coffee carafes didn’t keep coffee hot, trash sitting outside of trash cans. Beds very comfortable and shower soaps were great! The lady at reception was wonderful and I think she was the sole person running it. There are too many hotels with better breakfasts, and 24 hour coffee machines to keep from staying here again. But for the money, you did get a great nights sleep.

I booked a one night stay at Ramada in Wytheville, VA over a week in advance. I mistakenly booked my stay one night later than I intended to and Immediately I called the hotel to try and move my stay one day ahead. They refused to accommodate my request even after I offered to get a more expensive room if that was all that was available. They offered to reschedule my stay, but not without charging me the full $98 price for the first room on top of the standard charge for another room. I declined and canceled my stay, for which I was promptly charged full price. Greedy management who refuse to make the slightest accommodations for their customers. If they are that stingy about rescheduling, no doubt they are cutting costs on important things like sanitation, pest control, security, and maintenance. I would not recommend doing any business with this hotel, it is my opinion that they should not be in the hospitality industry at all. Zero hospitality displayed by Ramada. This hotel is visible from the highway. I hope in the future to see it boarded up and derelict, if not in the hands of more respectable management.

No aoap in one of our rooms. Atains on blanket in room 206, outleta sisnt work to power my oxygen machine and ventilator. A/c unit has tape across front and only went down to 67. Fiven ezcuse waffle batter waa out of stock. Only had apples donuts and 6 bagels
