The front desk staff was wonderful and welcoming. We found this historic hotel to be lovely clean and have a wonderful restaurant. Great place to stay if you’re heading down skyline Drive. Very enjoyable highly recommend.

Great location Old built-in the 20s but updated. The only thing I didn't like about it was they only clean the rooms once every 3 days. And they don't tell you that it's on a small card with very fine print. In the room, if you can find it

Overall, this was a very wonderful stay. The staff were excellent and super helpful. Onsight, the Graze on Main, and the Perch had excellent service, and the food was delicious! Recommend all the shareables. Easy walkable distance to great little shops, additional dining, parks, and museums. Don't forget to try Skeeter's famous dogs, right across the street! Such a piece of history! Recommended if coming to Wytheville, this is the place to stay!

All in all, this was a great place to stay. I tried getting a room with the best view since my wife and I were celebrating our 47th Anniversary but was told they tried but couldn’t make it happen. Also, I don’t mine paying more for a nice hotel which this was but I was disappointed that the tub did not drain well. I told the staff upon checkout and feel certain they would most likely fix for the next person staying there. That small incident took away from all the other 10 things they did right. It was still a nice stay and we enjoyed the local folks.

Easy access for a halfway point on a road trip and parking was convenient. Bar restaurant good. Unfortunately roof tip bar closed right after sunset . Hallways in hotel kind of dingy and smelly. But rooms nice and comfortable
