When we checked in the TV wasn’t working so they sent someone up. He ended up having to remove the microwave and the refrigerator that was under the TV in a different cabinet because he said that the power outlet was overloaded and he would be back the next day to straighten everything out. He never came back, mentioned that it was probably a safety hazard because the power outlet was obviously faulty. Absolutely nothing was done. So our weekend was spent with the refrigerator located between our two beds. We also had a six year old granddaughter with us And that was a safety hazard being in the middle of the bed. I had paid for two queen size beds and I would say they’re probably doubles and when I mention that to the desk, they said it’s listed as two queens. They were not. At checkout, I mentioned about the beds again and about the refrigerator being in the middle of the room and they said well, you should’ve told us? Really?? I guess I moved that stuff myself and decided to leave it in the middle of the room. Obviously nothing was documented at the front desk as to what was done and what was complained about. What bothered me the most was how quickly the guy knew that The power outlet was overloaded right away. He moved the refrigerator between the beds and the microwave below the TV. As quickly as he did that it kind of told me it wasn’t the first time that room had to be moved around like it was. I was staying at best Western in Marlborough, Massachusetts in room 549.

And this is what the front desk said was listed as a queen. Both beds are like this.

Everyone was nice and the place was clean but slightly dated. The breakfast was good and the space was open, bright and pleasant. The pillows could use some help. Be careful of the walls in the pool. Future guests will likely be able to use the new smart tv services they're setting up.

Staff at room was kind. I didn't expect my bed to be made every day which was nice. The bartender at the All Star restaurant was not great. He spent most of the time I was there out of view, chatting to coworkers in the food prep area. I had to grab him while he was walking by to get any service. The sandwich was yummy.

We booked several rooms for a business trip, but they did not have all the rooms we had reserved available. In addition, one of my employees (a young lady) was checked into a room that was already occupied. When she went to open the door, a man shouted at her from within. Could have been an incredibly dangerous situation, but luckily I was nearby. They did eventually give us one of the rooms for half price, but it doesn't feel like enough given the hassle we had to go through.

I love this hotel it’ll be my 4th time staying here. The breakfast is great, rooms are clean, and workers are very welcoming and happy to help. One thing I do recommend is for their pool to be heated, the room itself is very warm but once you touch the water it’s cold. But overall the place is great and definitely will be coming back every year.
