Fabulous stay in this characterful hotel with amazing views, excellent breakfasts, attentive & helpful staff. The room was pristine, the breakfast was excellent and all the staff friendly and efficient. One member of staff, John, was particularly lovely and went out of his way to help us on the afternoon we arrived early before our room had been cleaned. He let us into the room to change for the wedding we were going to and gave us some towels to freshen up. Also, the following day he went out of his way to help find us a taxi which was proving very difficult!

We had a lovely few days over the bank holiday weekend. We had dinner twice in the restaurant and both times the food was excellent with impeccable service. Breakfast was equally as good. A fabulous stay. The warmth and attentiveness of the service made this a great experience. We stayed in the dog friendly garden rooms which were spacious with nice touches for the dog.
