Bathroom shower still had hair stuck to the walls from previous guests. Was told room was an upgrade from our reservations and some technical issue. The tile floors sticky.

The hotel was disgusting, the beds were absolutely terrible, most all the outlets didn’t work, the fridge didn't work, we had no hot water and the AC/heat sounded like chewbacca when it would turn on! Also, we were given 3, yes three rooms, these problems were in ALL OF THEM! the elevator didn’t work the hotel stunk like bad weed and cigarettes.

We weren’t impressed. Although the price did indeed reflect the property I was disappointed in the customer service. The water in the waterpark was so cold you couldn’t even go in it. The “hot” tub was like warm. I mentioned it and I’m pretty sure no one spoke English. The TV didn’t work. The WiFi was spotty if that. I think next time I will pay the extra money for a better experience.

Just some ideas to update

Hotel was clean and spacious the front desk lady was courteous. With having an indoor pool and calling it a resort I thought they would have a washer and dryer available to use even it was a pay to wash and dry. They didn’t offer an onsite cafe or cafeteria with venting machines.

The room where we stayed was very nice and was big enough for the family, however the front deak can have quite and attitude and I was made fun of by the lifeguards for my weight at the indoor pool area. Place was great but staff wasn’t.

The Polynesian is in a good area but it's rather run down. It's sad to see that it could have been a very nice place in the past. It's very basic. We could not get extra pillows and our balcony door wouldn't open - which is a major safety concern to me.

Underwhelming

The room was very clean. They get points for that. The bed was very soft. The big problem was we had no TV for our downtime. We did have very small TV in the room... maybe 32 " at best. ...not nearly big enough for the two beds to see to begin with.They only had Roku so if you don't stream from home you can't watch anything...the problem for us though was that their Internet was too weak for streaming at all. I'm not sure why they call it the Polynesian as their was literally no theme at all except a pillar outside and a giant pile of rocks in the lobby. The grass by the room entrances needed to be mowed and we were charged $20 for a resort fee when we didn't even use the pool. We dealt with it ,but will never go back. It's 2025...update your wifi.

the people were nice pool area was nice, but the room was not that great holes in the walls, holes in the door, to shower was broken, the toilet paper holder was broken out of the wall half of the lights didn't work no outlets where they could be used the doors that needed a key card only worked half the time
