Vacation bliss awaits in this sunny top-floor condo at Hi Country Haus, with views of the Fraser River and the mountains. It's just a few steps from the free shuttle, restaurants, shops and nightlife, yet tucked away in a peaceful setting. It sleeps up to 9. THE HOME Living area: A large stone wood-burning stove, a skylight, a sectional sofa, a smart TV (no cable) and board games for the family. Kitchen and dining: The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and plenty of cooking gadgets. Gather at the round dining table and the breakfast bar. Outside: A little bench out front where you can take in the mountain views. Primary bedroom: King bed, bedside charging stations, a smart TV (no cable) and an en-suite bath with a natural stone walk-in shower. Second bedroom: Queen bed. Bunk room: A twin-over-twin bunk and a twin-over-full bunk, each with its own reading lamp. Bathrooms: The guest bedrooms share the hallway bathroom, which has a shower/tub combo. Gear storage: There is no entryway closet, so please store skis, snowboards and other outdoor gear outside the entry door. Laundry: Washer and dryer in the condo. Access: The condo is on the top floor and there is no elevator, so you'll need to take the stairs to reach it. EXTRA GUEST FEE The nightly rate is based on up to 8 guests, so smaller groups aren't paying for a full house. For groups of 9 or more, a fee of $15 per additional guest per night applies. It covers the extra linens, towels and supplies, and will be added when we confirm your reservation. HI COUNTRY HAUS AMENITIES Guests have free access to the Hi Country Haus Rec Center, with an indoor pool and indoor and outdoor hot tubs, plus a sun deck, a communal kitchen, a computer with printer, fireplace and lounge areas, and a children's room. A key card for the Rec Center is left in the condo for your group to share. TRAVELING WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS? We also manage a 3-bedroom and a 2-bedroom condo here at Hi Country Haus, so your group can stay close by while everyone has their own space. GETTING AROUND The property is on the "Blue" shuttle line, and the stop is a 2-minute walk from the building. Winter Park Resort's base is about 4.5 miles away. Rocky Mountain National Park's west entrance at Grand Lake is a scenic 45-minute drive. We hope you'll be our guest at this peaceful mountain retreat! GOOD TO KNOW • Bedding: This property uses the Triple Sheet Method. Two sheets encase the comforter and are washed between every guest for an extra-clean sleep. • Parking: Free parking in front of the building. • Smoking: No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property, including the front area. • Fire restrictions: We strongly encourage guests traveling to Grand County to keep up with the latest updates on fire restrictions in our area.
