Significant road noise. Three day policy of not providing room cleaning or bed making. Elevator was not working for the three nights of our stay. TV cable ancient. Rear entrance not functioning. Beds are comfortable. Spacious room for double queen. What few staff on site were very helpful. Excellent work out room.

We always stay there when in Winnipeg due to it being pet friendly. The staff is always friendly and the breakfast included is always worth going to. The only thing that I was concerned with was the layer of dust built up on top of the tub surround and the bathroom ceiling fan

It was fine. A few pros and cons. First problem was the hot tub has been down for maintenance ‘for a while now’ but no where listed when you go to book and that was the deciding factor for me between this and another hotel. Tried running. Bath and it was barely a trickle so switched to a shower which was either freezing cold or scalding hot and made a screeching sound for most of the duration. Next the fridge leaked overnight. Which they did switch out immediately. Then the elevators quit working the second day of a four day trip and never worked again. Probably still are out of service. Beds are fine, neither good nor bad. Used the washer/dryer for laundry and both did their jobs real well for a reasonable price too however the dryer sounded like a spaceship landing so I feel bad for the staff that were around to listen to it. Overall it’s fine. Staff are friendly so that was appreciated.

This was a really good experience staying here again. I didn't think I'd ever stay here again because the last time, last year my son and I had booked and paid for our room. We were coming to Wpg for a medical trip and just drove 5 hours. We stayed at Super prior to this and had really liked staying here up until the one occasion when we got to the hotel to pay my deposit the clerk working that night...She was caucasian, she had blonde hair and alot of tattoos. She turned us away claiming we didn't make the "cash deposit deadline". We had no where to go it was snowing and cold. We had to sleep in our car that night had it running most of the night until our appointment the next day. I was so angry that I had already paid for my room and couldn't stay in it due to this woman smirking as she told me it's the hotel policy not to accept a cash deposit after 10pm. We were there @10:10pm. I now know a year or so later there is no such policy in place. That they should of accepted my cash deposit 24 hours around the clock as long as my room was paid for we should of been allowed to stay in it. I truly believe now it's my skin color that made her turn us away that night. I couldn't get a refund or anything. So I started staying at the Super 8 Wyndham East after that bad experience and found out I was wrongly turned away. That employee should of been held accountable for her actions that night. I still feel insulted for having gone through that BS with at the time my minor aged son.

Staff was ok, room cleanliness was ok. People were doing drugs outside and getting sick right beside the front door. The oatmeal in a big cooker in the am prepared was not good. Tasted off and was very dry. Took a long time for refill of food from when we got there. Lots of people had to wait for the hot items.

Great location for Assiniboia Downs and pets welcome. Super clean check in area with a complimentary Slushy Machine, which was aweaome as it was super hot the day we were there. Great air conditioning in the room. Lovely staff. Will stay here again.

Check in Staff was unhelpful and gave no info on anything even as to where ice machine was. Bfst was bland, dry cereal was stale and not the name brand it said it was. Mattresses slide off base, which is super dangerous especially for kids and persons with limited mobility. AC didnt work and there was a non stop extremely loud droaning sound in our room that kicked in every 10-20 mins and lasted 5-10 mins. Vending machine had barely anything in it and extremely over priced! $3 for two thin cookies? $2.50 for a halloween treat bag size?

Don't stay here

Had to change rooms twice. First one had hair on the bathroom floor and walls and grime in the corners. Second room had a super loud a/c that would have been too noisy to sleep next to. Last room still had some hair but I just wanted to sleep so I took it. Gross.
