The room looked recently renovated and was clean. Kids loved the water slide but the hot tub was lukewarm. We had a bad experience at the Aalto’s restaurant. We went for the Saturday prime rib buffet. Upon arrival at 5:30 (it started at 5:00), we were told they were sold out of prime rib even though the restaurant did not look very full. They offered us steak instead so we agreed. The steak we received was not worth $40 a plate. It was very dry and chewy. Almost like it had been thawed and frozen repeatedly. There seemed to be little selection for sides, especially for the kids. Some of the sides also seemed like they were cooked previously. Overall not a good experience, though they made it right by not charging us for our meals.

The individual we first met with to check in was rude and arrogant. Very defensive when shown an email with a different total (lesser than she was going to charge us). The room very rarely had hot water, the shower pressure was minimal and the tub didn’t drain properly

Hallways smell and look like they have never been vacuumed. There was approximately 20 garbage bags piled in front of one of the exit doors. I had to wait for an employee to move them to access the exit. The room was clean but disappointed there’s no longer shower caps provided. The alarm clock went off at 10 PM throughout the stay, could not get it to remain off. I like the laminate flooring for Choice in the rooms instead of carpet.
