Vey comfortable we have stayed in this historic building guest home . Just like our home, the owners was so warm to us. The guest house was located at the residential area which was very quiet and only 15 -20mins walking can down to the pier and shopping street.

We had a very pleasant stay at Kirkland Guest House. The property was clean, neat, and well maintained throughout our visit. The hosts were extremely helpful, welcoming, and genuinely kind, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. While it isn’t a luxury or fancy property, it offers excellent value for money and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The warm hospitality and attention to guests really stood out. A very nice, quiet place in a good location, a reasonably short walk to both Bowness and Windermere. The host, Paula, is very kind and helpful and I really enjoyed the wonderful breakfast! If I come back to the Lake District I'll stay there again.

Fantastic stay in Windermere! Thanks for Richard and Paula, we had an amazing time for 3 nights. Great taste breakfast provided everyday, the room is classic furnished and the location is good. With impacted introduction from Paula, we explored most of areas of Lake District. We enjoyed our holiday here and will definitely choose Kirkwood for the next time.

Lovely friendly place to stay. Paula was very welcoming, and the room was immaculate, and clean. We had breakfast and it was lovely, plenty to choose from and paula cannot do enough for you on your stay. Thanks guys for your hospitality we will be back.
