What a fabulous place to stay in lovely Bowness on Windermere. Chris and Vicky are so friendly, they were so helpful and accomodating to any requests, communication prior to check in was superb. Our room was beautiful, a gorgeous view over Lake Windermere, wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, fab hot shower, really clean and comfortable. There were lovely little touches in our room and a delightful, delicious breakfast cooked fresh each morning. We couldn't rate this place highly enough, were sorry to be going home. We were left homemade mince pies, returned to our room after a day out exploring to find a Christmas present wrapped up for us with a card from Chris and Vicky, such a lovely thoughtful touch, really appreciated by us. It was our first stay here but it will not be our last. You are free to come and go as you please, with free parking provided at the rear of the property, a real bonus around the Lake District. Honestly loved our stay and can't thank the hosts enough. Thank you for looking after us so well both, we wish you every success and look forward to returning soon. Hayley and Dave
