My second visit to Glencree was just as wonderful as the first. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. Our host really made us feel welcome and looked after us brilliantly. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to!

We had room 6 on ground floor which suited us it was a small double but very cosy and spotless. The tablet had all the info. Though as a digital dinosaur it took mea while to get used to it lovely toiletries and towels and brilliant fresh breakfast lived up to the reviews

The hotel is in a great location. Ian was an excellent host very friendly and made a great breakfast. The self check in and tablets in the room to order works really well. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Windermere/Bowness 👍

Great stay. Lovely room which was quite small but the balcony made up for it. The breakfast was great every day. Location wise is was an easy walk to either Windermere or Bowness. Would recommend.

Gorgeous guest house

Brilliant stay at The Glencree. Great location and beautiful property. Ian our host was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the romantic double with balcony, although the room was small it was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Overall an outstanding stay and would definitely return.
