Hotel is really cool, room was clean and had that cool old vibe,only thing id like to see is a bigger TV, my computer screen is bigger and volume was bad,im sure everyone heard me and my woman all doen the halls if you know what I mean.close to lake so it was perfect, I will definitely be staying again

This 125+ year old hotel has a lot of charm and character. It’s just a few miles off I-70 and a makes a memorable stop for travelers passing through Kansas.

This property has tons of charm and character. The restaurant is good, the beds are comfy even if the front desk lady was a little surly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if we find ourselves near Wilson again.

Beautiful hotel. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Room was immaculate. Dining at The Sample Room, which is part of the hotel, was delicious. Did not have the breakfast so no comment on that. Lots of history here. Free parking.

Amazing owner, present at the property, was hugely helpful when we had a 3-person-stay reservation glitch in our booking. This vintage hotel was built in 1899, was abandoned and closed for several years, and has undergone a beautiful renovation. It's open for several local festivals, but if you loved the movie Paper Moon, it's a must stay. All events and historic sites are within two short blocks of the hotel.

Liked: Charming and quaint stay, Easy check in. Lovely Queen bed with wooden floors and finishes with penny round tiles and chrome fixtures in bathroom. Fast wifi. Lovely silver tin filled with ice provided for a bottle of wine purchased at bar downstairs with wine glasses so we could relax while with Fido. Nice Kuerig coffee machine. Steps away from Czech egg! Very pet friendly and cute chickens in backyard! Would absolutely stay here again! Dislike: Not much to dislike other than that the breakfast was very basic.
