This property has tons of charm and character. The restaurant is good, the beds are comfy even if the front desk lady was a little surly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if we find ourselves near Wilson again.

Beautiful hotel. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Room was immaculate. Dining at The Sample Room, which is part of the hotel, was delicious. Did not have the breakfast so no comment on that. Lots of history here. Free parking.

Amazing owner, present at the property, was hugely helpful when we had a 3-person-stay reservation glitch in our booking. This vintage hotel was built in 1899, was abandoned and closed for several years, and has undergone a beautiful renovation. It's open for several local festivals, but if you loved the movie Paper Moon, it's a must stay. All events and historic sites are within two short blocks of the hotel.
