The location of the property was great. You will have to pay $10 a day for parking. The front desk staff are wonderful. I did not love the vocation of my room. I was put on the first floor by the pool and there was a lot of speaker directly outside my room that played throughout the day and until 10 PM. I also really wish that the pool was heated or at least they had a hot tub. There is very little to do in the off-season.

The room was excellent. The view was awesome. We stayed in a suite on the 7th floor. Breakfast is always really good. We have stayed here about four times this year. Home away from home. We will be back very soon.

Perfect location, everything you would need is within walking distance. The continental breakfast was fantastic, DJ at the desk was so kind and helpful. The Ocean view is well worth the upgrade from the City view

I visited Carolina Beach to help me heal from the sudden death of my 36-year-old beloved daughter 6 months ago. I had always stayed with her and her sister at the Golden Sands, but I thought that would just be too painful. I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn for 4 nights in an oceanfront room. I read, sketched, looked at the ocean, and remembered all the good times with my child. All of the staff were great. In particular, I met the restaurant cook in front of the garden out by the pool. I was admiring her lush herbs and she urged me to take anything I wanted. She was lovely.

Oh my gosh, this was a perfect place for us to experience the Carolina beaches! Staff was so accommodating & pleasant. The room was good size & the balcony was so nice to have with the ocean & beach view. A bit hot to sit out on it until the later afternoon hours. Loved the board walk right onto the beach, sand was soft, breeze was a blessing & having a beach umbrella & 2 beach chairs delivered, set up & picked up was wonderful. Rentabeachchair.com $40 for 9-5 use! Browsed the shops, coffee from nearby Crush & Grind, cold beverage @ the Silver Dollar & excellent smoked the fried chicken wings at Sunny Daze - Delilah was a delight!!

We really liked the convenience and the condition of the hotel. We also appreciated breakfast in the morning and the bar and pool on the deck. However, the mattresses were not comfortable. I also didn’t like the coffee in the bathroom and no microwave in the room. Also not specific to the hotel but we saw lots of cockroaches on the boardwalk. All that being said, we would stay again as long as it was only a day or 2.

Birthday getaway

Celebrated my son’s 18th birthday here. They were so kind from the minute we stepped on property. Room was clean, quiet& cool view of the canal. Being beachfront was a huge selling point for everyone in my family. There is nothing better than having breakfast with a view of the ocean welcoming you to the day.
