"This is a spotless VRBO that is clearly loved and cared for by its host and visitors. The house has everything you could want and need for a week of rest or recreation. The property is beautiful and serene. The view is beautiful beyond belief - almost too good to be true. One of the most beautiful places I have visited. We had some hiccups outside the host's control (bad weather, downed power lines) but the host was in touch often and worked to help us reach a resolution. We were a little intimidated by the private road setting, but quickly felt comfortable there. You can't see or hear any neighbors from the site and those we did encounter up and down the drive were quite friendly. Things we loved in the house: the "snug" room with woodburning fireplace, the VIEW from kitchen and large dining table, the thoughtfully stocked basics like paper towel and laundry detergent, the comfortable and very clean rooms and cold A/C, the game room with a beautiful pool table and our first experience with shuffleboard. Things we loved on the property: the VIEW, watching the sunset, having a fire, watching wildlife (in four days we saw porcupine, marten, deer, fox), riding bikes around the yard, sitting in rockers on the front porch, grilling burgers on the elevated patio. Things we loved in Wilmington: Bartleby's Books, The Village Roost, the friendly people, Ward's Cove's pristine lake access (and flower fields on the way there). Easy to reach Amherst, Williamstown. Good for the soul. 3"
