I am sorry to write this email as I generally love to write positive reviews and emails, but I am writing to provide feedback which will hopefully lead to fewer of these feelings from customers in the future. It also seems more constructive to write these things in an email than to post a negative review online.
My family and I just arrived home after checking out early from your hotel, which we have never done before. Upon arrival, the first sight that greeted us as we opened our hotel room door was a dirty toilet that was open and the water kept running and running into it, as if their was either a leak or a clog. There were clean towels but after a quick glimpse of the shower, it was clear that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly for quite some time. There was hair in the drain, someone else's used soap in the shower, biofilm/soap scum on the shower head, toothpaste splatter on the handles of the drawers, etc. We informed the (lovely) front desk employee of this and she apologized profusely and offered to move our room, but as we had already gotten set-up, we told her that we would just like the bathroom cleaned while we were at dinner instead. When we arrived back after dinner, the toilet looked cleaner (still wouldn't call it clean) but it was still running and nothing else looked improved at all. We were traveling with li
