The hotel had roaches, the TV did not work. The bathroom had rust on the shower head. There was garbage in the room for the previous guest. There were people talking outside our door all night I am a single mom of 4 and had 3 of my children in this hotel for a bit of peace and had the opposite experience. We absolutely could not stay for the 2 days required and had to make alternative accommodations. I asked for a refund via hotels.com and the Days Inn neither would assist with this matter so I will consult a lawyer and turn to social media to share my experience. Absolutely vile behavior to send me an email today saying I could not have a refund after this experience and the shared photos via email.

We arrived to check into 2 rooms at 3p. Line out the door. No rooms available due to housekeeping. We finally left and called at 7p and no room ready. Bothered me that we reserved on Hotels.com and were last priority.

The parking was easy and secure. The room was clean with plenty of towels. The only concern was that our card key did not work the first day so a staff member had to let us into our room to gain entry.

Breakfast was OK... and that was the high point. Room was incredibly small, wife had to squirm around AC unit to avoid banging head. AC unit was loud and incredibly intrusive. Killed something crawling across the floor. Had to struggle daily to get appropriate towel service, once having a floor mat as a hand towel, and six wash cloths instead of what we needed. UGH! Never again...

The front desk people were super nice. The room was clean and ready for us. The bathroom sink had issues. We had no hot water there and the handle on the faucet was loose so we didn’t always get water until we fiddled with it.

We had The most unfortunate experience with this hotel, along with a decent amount of guests. Check in was at 3pm but our room was not available until 6pm. The WIFI was maxed out with the number of guests using it and we had to wait our turn for someone to stop so we could connect. Depending on your carrier you will have service on you won’t. I have never heard of such a thing with as big of an organization as this. Guests were being sent to rooms that already had guests inside. The front desk staff was doing their best with their hands tied. A manager should have been there to help navigate but no where to be found. I will say the room was clean and if you are not in a rush and don’t need service for contact this is close to most sleepy hallow attractions, about a 10-12 minute drive. The hotel just did not work for us.
