Fishing Info:
Fishing is great on Round Lake!
A Michigan fishing license is required and can be purchased online through the Michigan DNR or at Meijer/Dunham’s.
Please bring your own fishing gear.

Safety:
Safety is our top priority, especially being on the lake.
• Children must never be left unattended near the water
• Adult life vests (S/M/L) provided
• 4 child life vests available (ages ~1–9)
• Life vests must be worn when using the pontoon boat

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home, along with the backyard, deck, hot tub, beach, dock, and lake.

Pontoon Boat (Optional Rental):
Available during warmer months May–September. If reserved, keys are provided via a smart lockbox and the boat comes prefilled with gasoline.
Please note the boat launch is private, so we cannot accommodate guests bringing their own boats.

Parking:
Space for up to 3 vehicles in the driveway.

Restrictions:
Pets are not allowed at this time.
If you have a service animal or special request, please message us.
The only areas not accessible are the cleaning closet inside the home and the shed outside.

Minimum Stay:
Our standard minimum stay is 3 nights for warmer months and 2 nights for cooler months. If you’re interested in a shorter stay, feel free to message us—we’re happy to consider exceptions depending on availability.

No Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property or inside the home. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged if this policy is violated.

Well Water
The home uses a private well water system. The water has been professionally tested and is safe to drink.

Cooling & Air Conditioning
This is a classic Michigan lake cottage and does not have central air conditioning. To keep guests comfortable during warmer months:
• Stand-alone A/C units are provided on each floor in select bedrooms
• Please do not move the units, as they are positioned for optimal cooling
• Opening windows and using ceiling fans helps maintain good airflow

Michigan typically experiences moderate summer temperatures, and many guests find the cottage comfortable with the provided A/C units, lake breeze, and fans.

Cameras
There are 4 cameras on the property. (1) First camera is mounted to the front of the home and faced the parking spaces. (2) Second camera is mounted mid-section of the home and faces the front orange guest access door. (3) Third camera is mounted to the rear of the home and faces the lake. (4) Fourth camera is a bird feeder mounted to the back of the shed and faces the dock/boat. It is motion activated.
