Lost Lake Lodge is a block away from Lost Lake itself with its multitude of walking/hiking trails. Being away from the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village makes this ideal for a quiet holiday. However, late in the year (October and later) it gets dark early in these parts and the walk back from dinner in the Village is either spooky or romantic depending on your perspective. However, the free Village shuttle bus stops half a block away, if you want to leave the car parked. The property itself is well maintained and clean. Kitchen was well appointed. Staff was extremely helpful and cheerful. We had a problem with the closet door and the chap from maintenance was there within minutes. Love it when problems are solved so expeditiously. The information provided by the lodge for check-in was wonderful. All we had to do was to pay for parking via a meter at the front door. They already provided us with the key code and we simply drove in, took the elevator to our floor, keyed in the code for our stay and that was it. No fuss, no hassle.
