The hotel is in good location, a short 5ish minute walk from the Gateway Loop and Information Center. If you take the bus from Vancouver, it's very convenient to get from bus to hotel. It's also a short walk to restaurant and Olympic skating ring. It's a little longer to walk to the base of the slope, probably 15min, not the distance but rather not rushing through snow and possibly slippery road. The hotel has a shuttle but it's not fast and small, so fill up fast for each trip. Much easier to walk even with kids. There are 2 paths and one doesn't require crossing any street. The room we got was 1 bedroom with king bed. It has a queen sofa bed and enough room to fit a twin rollaway bed. Good fit for our family of 4 (2 teenagers). There's a full size kitchen with full size fridge, oven, stove, and dishwasher. Come in very handy. 2 grocery stores nearby. They clean the room everyday and switch out any dirty towels but they don't clean the floor, just something to be aware of not really a big deal.
This is the sofa bed and rollaway bed - took up the whole living room but it works for us

The hotel is conveniently located in the village with shuttle access to Whistler gondola which was convenient and reliable. We found the hotel itself to be average. The room was quite dusty. We liked the hot tubs as there are three. The pool was not heated too well for the temp outside. The ski storage was helpful. Our suite was smaller than anticipated and it was cramped with four of us.

The customer service was great. All are friendly and responded quickly to all inquiries. However we experienced several issues with the room, the dishwasher did not work well and when we did get it to work it was very loud and disruptive. The room was way too hot and attempts to cool it took three days. Had to turn on the air conditioning and it also was very loud.

Room given to us was in second floor on top of the bar and was too loud and people are shouting and loud ,bouncer himself is loud and keep talking the entire night . it’s like literally sleeping in the street , we went there as family and that room shouldn’t be given to family specially with kids . Very disappointing . All my stay is in Marriott but this is the worst one I complain this before midnight and we got our quiet sleep around 3am .

The room and staff were tremendous! I felt right at home. Room was super clean, and the amenities were appreciated. With it being off season, the room which looked onto the main walkway was quiet. In peak times I would ask for a room facing the other way. Highly recommend!
