The room was clean and well-appointed. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bedspread decoration was a nice touch. We LOVED the deck and the grassy area with picnic tables and a fire pit, too. We wish we had stayed at this hotel when our kids were young -- they would have loved to run around in the grass. Also, the receptionist at check-in suggested the most wonderful breakfast place -- The Keltic Kettle. Best breakfast I have ever had!

We would have rated this excellent all the way across except we had an unpleasant experience at check in. We pre registered as they asked. When we arrived at 2:32 pm my husband went to check in only to be told we couldn’t check in til 3. Ok so we sat in our car and watched 3 other parties go in and come out with the map of the grounds and their keys..?? Hmmm So we decided at 2:57 to try and once again check in.. the fella that told my husband no early check-ins was no longer there.. the gal that was, was pleasant enough she gave us many excuses as to why we were told this. As she was trying to come up with excuses the fella that had talked to my husband was in the room behind the check in area snickering and laughing.. But other than this …the place is a nice clean place to stay while on the Cape

My stay was great for the most part. The property needs a lot of updating and a good maintenance man to keep things up. Bathroom, many loose fixtures and needed updating. Sliding doors dirty and hard to open and close. Heater/air conditioner not very clean and had a bad smell. Coffee pot did not work, very frustrating as I intentionally look for rooms with coffee pots because I’m a coffee drinker, had to DoorDash coffee. Parking should be assigned to rooms, so that you don’t have to park in front of someone else’s room across the lot. A lot of machinery and excess stuff cluttering up back areas of property, making the view less than delightful. Staff was very friendly. Just needs a lot of updating and clean up that’s all. Area is great and it’s a pretty decent location. It’s a good price, but there are some better kept up properties in the same price range. I would stay again if need be.

People above fme made noise for hours in the middle of the night. Room had dirty carpet and dirty floors. Bay view was nice and beds were well-made and clean. Wore socks due to dirty carpet. Socks were black before I left so I threw them away. Desk clerk was polite and apologetic for noise. I asked for a refund for the night I could not sleep and it was not granted. They refused.

We opting for the hotel because of price and because the pictures made it appear like it was relatively clean/updated. We understand this is an old motel but our room did not resemble photos and was very dated. We could have gotten past that but the floors were so dirty and grimy we had to purchase sandles just to wear in the room. We did request housekeeping but even on that day they never cleaned the floors - so gross. The toilet backed up and the bathroom sink was very slow to drain. We did not utilize the outdoor pool but the indoor pool and hot tub had both debris in the water and were in very poor condition (chipping). The area did seem safe and it was relatively quiet but could not get past the poor cleanliness - especially if the floor.
