I used to travel for work and Hampton Inns were my go-to. This facility had lots of wear and tear which was not like other Hamptons I had stayed at previously. It was a large Amir t of small things rusty faucets, algae on the walls in the pool, excess caulk around the baseboards, small holes in the walls, and stains on the fabric headboards, chipped paint, archaic window blinds, cheap furniture that was too big for the small rooms, etc.) that just made it feel run down."
