Disappointed

Check-in was my main issue with the stay. We arrived late (1am) after going to a concert nearby. There was no clerk. In place of a clerk was a kiosk with a virtual clerk. Clearly, they have outsourced this position to another country. I would much rather talk to an actual staff member, instead of a person through a screen. The process went smoothly enough, but it was a shame to see jobs outsourced like that. I understand that wages make up the majority of costs for businesses, but to not have someone readily available on-site seemed like a miss in a customer service field, such as this. Also, coffee material (grounds, etc) was in the room, but no coffee maker!?

We were disappointed- check in was virtual. I had filled out all the paperwork before and it was redundant. Shower had a slow leak and a slow drain. Hot tub was out of order and no pool towels in the pool area.

I thought I was making my reservation, online, directly with the hotel, but when finished I realized it was with Hotels .com a reservation agent. The dates were wrong and my reservation was cancelled for not arriving on the wrong date and my card was charged more than I was quoted! What else could go wrong? from now on I will call and ta;k to a real human!
