Room was very clean and breakfast had a nice variety. The bed however was a bit firm for my liking but overall it was a clean, inexpensive option for our one night in the area.

Four or five nights a month I stay in a hotel. This was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever experienced and I tried both of them. The springs are shot and you go right to the hard base. These mattresses should’ve been recycled probably 4 to 5 years ago and the fact that they are still charging a customer and have certainly been told how bad the beds are his mind blowing. I talked to the front desk person who moved me to another room and both of those beds were exactly the same. She said she hears a complaint quite a bit.

I initially booked this hotel on September 27, canceled, and rebooked on September 29, 2025. At check-in, there was a double booking under my name. Despite explaining that I had traveled over 7 hours with kids and was exhausted, the front desk kept us waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes while resolving the issue with Expedia—very frustrating and poorly handled. I also requested a one-day extension three days in advance, which was confirmed. However, the day before my new checkout date, I got a call saying it was my last day. The front desk offered no solution and forced us to leave, ruining our plans for the day. Check-in and check-out were both a mess due to poor management and communication, although the hotel itself is in great condition.

Room wasn’t ready until 4pm, beds were hard, th receptionist kept texting on her phone while checking us in. Got woken up at 9am to house keeping knocking on the door asking if we were leaving so they could clean the room, when check out is at 1100.

It was great value close enough to the DC and the metro train station:west church falls. Which was useful when we attended the Brezzy Bowl concert at National Park. The staff was kind honest and helpful would stay there again.

Mostly very nice!

We checked in late so we were greeted the same way I think most people get greeted when they check in late. Not super friendly but okay. The staff was great (house keeping- very friendly); the head breakfast lady made it very clear they were closed at 9:10 am as soon as I walked in to grab a bowl only and I had to explain myself. She may as well have said “please turn around and go back”. There’s a better way to say things vs-“excuse me; we are closed.” Since yogurts and oatmeal were there I should have been offered to feel welcome to grab some to go but no; “we are closed”. That’s all. I didn’t even want anything so it was presumptuous. I get your cleaning up, but don’t assume I’m coming to mess up your schedule. Otherwise, comfy room, very clean and comfy bed. Nice time for our pup too.

Housekeeping came every morning around 9 am. I have never stayed at a hotel where it was this early. There was no consideration that people were sleeping. Also the beds were terrible! My neck and back was hurting from the springs you could feel in the bed. The mattress are old and don’t have much cushion.

Everything was fine, but the hotel charges $100 pet deposit - totally understandable - AND $50/night to keep pets with you! If they had a designated pet area or something else to offer, perhaps - but to keep a pet with you and charge $50/night feels insulting.

Front desk staff are welcoming and took pride in providing excellent customer service. Very impressed with the cleanliness of our room, the breakfast room, and the front desk area. Unfortunately, the room I was assigned was located directly above the hotel entrance, and there was a significant amount of noise every time the doors opened to welcome guests. This made it difficult to rest, especially during the night. Additionally, there was a persistent noise coming from the toilet due to a malfunction inside the water tank, which caused water to continuously leak. I wanted to bring this to your attention in case it helps improve the experience for future guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Good in spite of...

There was a hole in the ceiling from a poor repair job. The water pressure was very low and the sink faucet was too short to get your hands under to wash them. I thought it ridiculous that they required a $100 deposit when they already have your credit card number. The bed was very comfortable and the location was good for seeing the sights.
